Years ago too, our parents always said “The weather is nice! Outside with you!” And quite honestly, in the fresh air and in the nature around the Hotel Neubergerhof you experience the greatest adventures and make the best discoveries. And when your brothers & sisters and friends are around as well, there is probably nothing better!
Experience the flora and fauna in the forest, on the meadows or build a dam down at the Neubergerhof stream or help to muck out at the stable. The horses have to be groomed every day or you can help pick dandelions for the little bunnies. Outside, life is waiting for you! And there are also enough playgrounds and sports fields to let off steam and be active on a family holiday in Austria.
Playground
Above the hotel, the children can enjoy a modern children's playground with swing, slide, play hut, large sandpit with lots of toys to build sandcastles, make sand cakes and dig. Head up high on the giant climbing frame. At the children's playground there is also a small bench and table for mum and dad. So, you always have the children in view while you enjoy the warm rays of sunshine.
Slackline course
In the WASTL Indian Village, not far from the hotel, we build a small slackline course every year. Here, you practice keeping your balance, promote concentration or practise a few jumps if you are already a bit more experienced on this sports equipment.
Fun Court

There is always something going on at the sports field during the summer holidays. We often meet fathers playing football with their sons, or the boys who got to know each other on holiday at the Neubergerhof challenge each other to a tense football game. From the terrace, fans can cheer on their favourite player.
The Fun Court is also used by our childminders for various games within the framework of the WASTL Kid’s Club. There can be a funny wet water bomb battle, a game of zombie ball or a race on stilts.
In winter we turn the sports field into an ice curling rink. Once a week you can meet here for exciting curling with Martin Reiter Jr. Add to that mulled wine and a great atmosphere and the cold winter evenings become unforgettable!

At the sports field, there's always something going on during the summer holidays. It's a meeting point for fathers and their sons who enjoy organizing football matches, as well as for young people who have met during their vacation at Neubergerhof and compete in exciting football games. From the terrace, fans can cheer and support their favorite players.

Covered pedal kart track
Ready, set, go!
In the footsteps of Sebastian Vettel, you can take your turns wildly on the green GoKarts in the tyre course. Even in rainy weather, many exciting races are held here. What luck that our pedal kart track is covered.
Toboggan
The wooden sledges for a fun tobogganing run with the whole family can be borrowed on site. On our illuminated toboggan hill you can also take a small wooden sleigh ride in the evening.
Have you ever slipped down the hill on a rubber truck tyre? Sliding on the snow works even better with a rubbish bag, which you can cushion with a pillow beforehand. You’ve probably never spun down a hill this fast! You can also borrow the popular Zipflbobs.
Snowtubing with the quad
And because snowtubing is so popular, Martin Reiter Jr. drives in circles for hours with the quad and the attached rubber tires over our meadow. It is important to bring a ski suit, helmet and ski goggles! Come to the meeting point at the bottom of the meadow and you're off. Children, but also adults, queue up to be the next in line.
Biathlon status
The Neubergerhof is also known as the first biathlon hotel in the Alps. This means that in addition to the mile-long, perfectly groomed cross-country trails, there is also a biathlon shooting range. Our cross-country and biathlon pro Manfred Nagl will be happy to introduce you to this popular Nordic skiing sport. Laser rifles are then used to practice aiming and shooting at the biathlon discs. But there is not just shooting, skiing on the narrow skis is also a part of biathlon.
15 metre long ski magic carpet
Also at the Neubergerhof is our magic carpet for the little ski dwarfs up to 6 years old. In 2-hour courses, the children learn their first steps on skis. Once they learn the snow plough for braking perfectly, we continue onto the partner "ski school Filzmoos".
