What are the cancellation conditions?

  • What are the cancellation conditions?
  • Cancellation can be made free of charge up to 4 weeks prior to arrival
  • In case of cancellation from 4 weeks to 2 weeks before arrival, 40% will be charged
  • In case of cancellation from 2 weeks to 1 week before arrival, 70% will be charged
  • In case of cancellation within 1 week before arrival, 90% will be charged

Cancellation costs are charged without exception; therefore we recommend taking out cancellation insurance. For more information, see European insurance.

What is included in the price as per the offer?

This is always different based on your offer. The price always includes the following:

  • Breakfast buffet with over 100 products
  • Afternoon snack with coffee, tea, cake buffet and snack
  • Tea bar, juices and healthy treats in our sauna area
  • Great family extras: WASTL Kid’s Club children's and youth program, WASTL-Arena 150 m2 indoor kindergarten, WASTL Adventure Camp, children's playground, wellness for kids & teens, children's lunch & baby equipment, horse riding for children from 3 - 18 years old (only in summer), dwarf ski course from 3 - 6 years old (only in winter).
  • Panorama indoor pool with sunbathing lawn and Kneipp facility in summer
  • Various saunas, infra-red cabin, relaxation rooms, fitness room,
    separate family sauna
  • Many summer and winter activities
  • Bathrobes, towels and bath slippers in the room
  • Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel

When is check-in or check-out?

Arrival:
Your room is ready for occupancy from 15:00. Early arrival is of course also possible. You can already enjoy breakfast (from 07:30 to 10:30) and use the hotel amenities.

Departure / Check out:
We kindly ask you to leave your room by 11:00. Depending on the availability of the room, you can use it longer on the day of departure for an extra fee. Please check at the reception the day before your departure.

• Where is the nearest train station and do you offer a train station transfer or airport transfer?

By train: The nearest railway stations are Eben im Pongau (11 km) and Bischofshofen (28 km). Pick-up is available from Bischofshofen for € 25.00 per trip, Radstadt for € 15.00 per trip and free pick-up from Eben im Pongau with the Neubergerhof hotel taxi during the day from 08:00 to 20:00.

By plane: With direct flights from Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne, Bonn and Hanover to Salzburg (70 km away). 

A cheap transfer to your holiday accommodation is waiting at the airport.

How is the room paid (in advance or on-site)?

A deposit of more than 25% of the travel price must be paid in advance, the remaining amount can then be paid on-site in cash, with EC/Debit Card, with VISA or Mastercard.

Can I pay in cash, by debit or credit card?

Yes, you can pay your hotel bill at the end of your stay in cash, with EC/Debit Card, with VISA or Mastercard.

Are the drinks all inclusive?

No, drinks are not included in the price.

Are allergies or intolerances taken into account? Do I get extra dishes?

Yes, we pay close attention to any allergies or intolerances. There is a vegetarian menu every day. Of course, we are also happy to pay attention to special requirements. Please let us know your allergies or intolerances before arrival so that we can organise the necessary food.

Do you have sledges/bobs to lend or do we have to bring them with us?

We have many different types of sledges/bobs for rent free of charge.

Do you have disabled access rooms?

Yes, we have barrier-free rooms. These are located on the 1st and 2nd floors and are easy to reach by lift.

Are there last-minute discounts?

There are no last-minute discounts, but we have great offers and for our regular guests we have a “regular guest bonus” just to say thank you. Here you can find detailed information.

Can I arrive earlier and store my luggage somewhere?

We do not have a direct luggage room, if you do not have the possibility to leave your luggage in the car, you can store it at the reception.

Are dogs allowed?

You are also welcome to bring your dog. The cost is € 16.00 per day (without food). Please understand that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant or in the wellness and children's play area. We reserve the right to charge for any final cleaning that may be required.

Are kid’s buggies available on-site?

Yes, we have various buggies available for free rental.

From what age are children allowed in the Kid’s Club and when is daycare available?

  • Children from 3 years old
  • Teens up to 16 years old
  • In the Dwarf Weeks: Children from 12 months old

When?
  • In summer: Sunday to Friday from 09:00 to 21:00
  • In the Dwarf Weeks: Sunday to Friday from 09:00 - 13:00 and 16:00 - 20:00
  • In winter: Sunday to Friday from 09:00 - 21:00, Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00

Are there discounts on different excursions?

Yes. We offer the free guest cards in the hotel with which you receive discounts.

When is the sauna and swimming pool open?

The sauna is open from 11:00 - 19:00. The swimming pool from 07:00 to 22:00

Are snow chains required in winter?

Normally you don't need snow chains on your car. Good winter tyres are sufficient. The highways service clears the roads regularly and appropriately. Nevertheless, we recommend carrying snow chains and towing hooks (at hand), should heavy snowfall occur. Please inform yourself in advance about the current weather conditions. You are also welcome to contact us personally.

Are there E-charging stations?

Yes, we have two charging stations for electric cars. One for Tesla only and one for all electric vehicles.

Should you reserve appointments for massages and beauty treatments?

In any case, it is recommended, but there are always appointments available on-site.

Where can I book the spa?

You can book spa appointments by email to urlaub@neubergerhof.at, by phone at +43 6453 8381 or on-site at the reception.

Is there a bed guard for children?

Yes, please make a reservation directly at the time of booking. We are happy to provide the bed guard for you.

Is it possible to darken the rooms?

Our comfort rooms are equipped with blackout curtains. The rooms in the main building are not.

Is it possible to wash laundry at the hotel?

Yes, we have a laundry and dry room in the basement. The tokens are available at the reception. EUR 2.50 per wash and dry.

Do you have Sky?

No.

How warm is the water in the swimming pool and how big is it?

The pool is 12 metres long and 5 metres wide. The water temperature is 30°C, so that even the little ones feel comfortable in the water.

What is the weather or climate like in Filzmoos?

Filzmoos has a temperate climate, so the typical values show warm but humid summer months and cold, but not so humid winter months. In addition, according to the recent years’ climate charts, the month of July is the warmest and at the same time the wettest month. During the summer months, you are spared from large heat waves in Filzmoos. Even if temperatures in many places climb above the 30-degree mark, it remains a few degrees cooler in this small mountain village. And even if should get really hot, it cools down in the evening and at night. Thus, a good and restful sleep is certain even in midsummer.

Are there hikes that are suitable for kid’s buggies?

Yes. In Filzmoos there are several family-friendly hikes suitable for kid’s buggies. Starting directly from our hotel, there are walking paths which are easily passable with buggies.

Where can you go jogging?

The “Camp-Circuit” or the “Neuberg-Circuit” directly from the hotel are ideal for jogging.

How far away is the nearest ski lift?

The nearest ski lift (drag lift) is approx. 3 minutes away by car. Guests are also welcome to use the free ski bus.

How to get to the Filzmoos ski area?

The best option is our free ski bus or you can use your own car.

Where is the nearest shop?

The nearest shop is in Filzmoos. There is a grocery store, sports shop, traditional dress shop and a souvenir shop. But if you want a little more choice, you should go to Altenmarkt or Radstadt (15 to 20 km away).

Where do the cross-country trails start?

The Neuberger Sonnenloipe starts directly at the hotel.

Where can I rent ski equipment and how to get ski tickets?

Ski equipment can be rented directly from the on-site sports shop, and ski tickets can also be purchased at the hotel's reception.

Is there a babysitter?

We would be happy to organise a babysitter for you. EUR 15.00 per hour

Is the tap water drinkable?

Yes. The tap water in the Neubergerhof can be drunk. The water comes from our own mountain spring and has the best drinking water quality. It doesn’t get any fresher!
