Mother Hulda is still hard at work and provides us the finest powder snow. We love that, and we really enjoy the fresh snow. In the meantime, the snow cat drivers work at full speed for our perfectly groomed slopes in Filzmoos. Not only the skiers can enjoy the winter sport – also the powder-lovers get everything they want now! Perfect conditions for a wonderful ski holiday. Don’t you think so?
We are very happy to live in a village which is “snow safe”. Our ski area is kind of small, but we are sure, you find everything you wish for. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner, an advanced or a pro – everybody finds his perfect slope.
Especially with the new lift, the ski area Filzmoos shines in fresh splendor. The 2-chairlift “Mooslehenbahn”, which worked for 37 years, has now been replaced by the modern 6-chairlift “sixpack”. The new lift meets the standards of today and gets the guests up the mountain much faster – so there is more time for skiing.
The sixpack is equipped with soft leather seats, a child safe lift bar and a weather protection hood. If sunshine or snowfall – nothing stands in the way of a comfortable lift ride!
Of course, we think of the other lifts too!
We will tell you our personal and, in our eyes, perfect “slopes-timetable”:
In the morning, you start at the “Großbergbahn”. That’s where the sun comes first and warms you up a bit. Over lunchtime are the slopes from the sixpack to Neuberg fantastic and in the afternoon, when the sunny slopes are already soft, we recommend the Papageno-Gondola.
Do you know what’s the best part about it?
You can leave your car at the Neubergerhof for your whole stay!
Why? Because the free shuttle “Fidibus” takes you to Filzmoos and the various ski lifts almost every 50 minutes. Just get in and drive off!
